phasing out the 5301 Bicone bead and
introducing a new and unique XILION cut bead!
The revolutionary XILION cut, with its alternating large and small facets, results in distinctively higher brilliance and particularly intense light reflection. In addition, this cut is differentiated from all other products on the market and copyright protected by Swarovski. The new XILION cut is applied to all standard sizes of the Bicone bead except for 2.5mm, which is too small to be upgraded. As was the case for all other XILION product upgrades, the article number is also being changed from 5301 to article 5328.
The Xilion bead is being rolled out
progressively until September 2009 as and when Swarovski runs out of stock of
the 5301 article. There is nothing for you to do; simply continue to purchase
the Bicone bead as you would ordinarily and you will receive the new Xilion cut
as soon as we have them in stock. Both beads are very similar and can be combined
in your designs.
